We stayed in a super 8 hotel on our way home in sioux city iowa and it was so clean in comparison to palmer gulch and we only paid 60 00 for the night 1 3 of what we paid a night at.

The pool water slide jumping pillow all look very cool online but again seems outdated and a little dingy.
The resort offers attached reunion cabins 21 and 22 which sleep up to eight and one room row cabins which sleep up to four for small to medium sized groups or events.

It being off season there wasn t much open for the kids to do however had it been open for the season we wouldn t have to leave.
Mount rushmore is located just five miles east of the campground.
It is really very ridiculous that they charge as much as they do for the row cabins.
However we stayed in one of the cabins owned my the palmer gulch lodge on the property 20 and it was just ok.

This place is very affordable for campers.
Guests visit in the daytime for picture taking and to visit the sculptor s studio new interpretive center and the concession.
There is also the new presidential trail that allows visitors to walk along the base of the sculpture for striking views never before available.
